My 9th grade class needed an activity to do at our Special Olympics event. Sand Art was the right answer. The athletes loved making their colorful sand art bottles. Sand art was the busiest booth at our Spring festival. we had plenty of sand and they had a hard time picking out their favorite shaped bottles. Next time I think i will go with less choices.
Sold the sand arts for $5, made $1700 profit, sand art was the perfect fundraiser. Not bad for 4 hours work. The vivid colors of sand attracted everyone.
