We make it easy to set up your Sand Art station. Our sand art party pack has all the sand figured out for you. Pour each color of sand into a bowl, stick a spoon in each color of sand, and have the kids walk around the tables to spoon in the colors into their fun shaped bottles. Funnels do make it easier to get the sand into the bottles. Clear bowls or plastic tubs work better so you can see the colors of sand. Anything will work: bowls, Tupperware, bins, pails, etc.
Either way to create sand art works. Squeeze bottles work better for small events. Each squeeze bottle only holds one pound of sand. So, you would have to have a bunch of bottles or would have to fill them up constantly during your event. Sand Artists love to touch the sand and scoop the colors of sand into the funnel. This way is more hands-on and fun! Have a starting point for your sand art booth. Once they select their shape of sand art bottle, hand them a funnel.
Yes, there is plenty of sand to fill all 100 sand art projects. We have never had anyone in 26 years to tell us that they ran out of sand.
